Service Description

This four week restorative yoga journey invites you to pause, soften, and return to yourself. Each session is spacious, slow, and deeply nourishing. Supported by props such as bolsters, blankets, and blocks, you’ll be guided into long held, comfortable shapes that release tension and calm the nervous system. This is yoga designed for deep rest and whole body restoration. What is restorative yoga? Restorative yoga is a gentle, supportive practice that guides the body into deep rest and healing. Instead of stretching or strengthening like other forms of yoga, it works by encouraging the body’s natural calm cascade - the physiological processes that settle the nervous system, soften tension, and restore equilibrium. With full prop support and a focus on stillness, restorative yoga creates space for the body, mind, and soul to recalibrate. What are some of the benefits of restorative yoga? Restorative yoga can offer profound support for your wellbeing: • Calms the nervous system and reduces stress • Improve sleep and supports deep rest • Relieves muscle tension without strain • Encourages emotional regulation and inner steadiness • Supports nervous system nourishment • Gentle on joints and accessible for all fitness levels • Helps you reconnect with yourself in a gentle, supported way Is this series for me? This series is designed for women who are: • Feeling tired, overwhelmed, or depleted • Navigating stress or emotional heaviness • Craving reconnection with themselves • Needing a soft, supported space to unwind • Wanting a gentle, accessible practice with no pressure to perform What can I expect each week? Each session we gather in a dimly lit, cosy, intentional space, where you are welcomed just as you are. • 75 minute sessions (however, please allow up to 90 minutes depending on group needs) • Slow, supported shapes using props such as bolsters, blankets, and blocks (all props and mats are supplied) • Guided relaxation and nervous system care • A calm, welcoming environment • Space to let the dust settle, breathe, and reconnect • No experience is necessary A beautiful opportunity to step away from the pace of daily life and honour your body, nourish your nervous system and return to yourself. If this is calling you, I can't wait to see you there, Emily x
